Our Facebook and Instagram pages are kept up to date.
We are open daily throughout the school summer holidays from 9am-5pm (last entry 3.45pm, gates close at 5pm).
We are open on Saturdays & Sundays in early September, before we reopen at the beginning of October for spooky maze games and pumpkin picking and the opportunity for photos in our a-maiz-ing PUMPKIN HOUSE!
We reserve the right to close the maze or restrict entry to the site at any time. Unfortunately, the great British weather is outside of our control! We want our site to remain safe and accessible.
Discounted online prices are as follows:

Child (3-16 years) £7
Concession (Over 65’s) £7
Family ticket (2 adults & 2 children or 1 adult & 3 children) £30

To monitor visitor numbers on site and avoid crowds at the entrance, we sell discounted tickets online.
A very limited number of tickets may be available on the gate, but we cannot guarantee this as we are often fully booked. We therefore highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
Tickets purchased at the gate are subject to a surcharge.

You will be emailed an order confirmation. This will include your unique booking reference number and a QR code that also contains this number. We suggest either having your ticket available either digitally (phone/tablet) or printing out the email. Presenting your QR code will make the check-in process quicker. However, if you are unable to show the information digitally or print out the email, you can make a note of the reference number to bring with you when you visit, and our staff will be able to check you in manually.

We open our gates at 9am. Last entry to the maze is at 3.45pm and we close at 5pm. When choosing your entry timeslot, please allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy our facilities so that you are able to leave by 5pm. It is not fair on our staff when people are still lost in the maze at 5.30pm!
Don’t panic!!!! We limit/allocate entry slots to space out our visitors to make sure that our site is not overcrowded and enjoyable for all. However, your ticket is valid all day so please drive safely, and we will happily let you in even if you are a little bit late!
Please note that last entry to the maze is 3.45pm and we shut our gates at 5pm.
Sensible footwear – the ground can be muddy and uneven. White stilettos are a big no!!!
Appropriate clothing – our maize maze is entirely outdoors so please dress for whatever the great British weather throws at us!
Suncream/sunhats, umbrellas, wellies – you name it, be prepared!
Picnic benches are available, but on busy days these can all be filled so you are welcome to bring a picnic blanket and/or some chairs with you. Please feel free to leave these in your car whilst you enjoy the maze, and then you can pop back to the car for them when you need them rather than having to carry them round with you!
Your cameras and phones to catch some special moments.
Lots of smiles, energy and enthusiasm!
Don’t forget to tag us in your posts and use #lichfieldmaizemaze
Toilets including disabled toilets with baby changing facilities are available on site.
Farmland is naturally uneven so sensible footwear is recommended at all times. Please be advised that paths may be difficult to access with wheelchairs and pushchairs, particularly following spells of wet weather. Most offroad buggies and mobility scooters seem to cope fine with underfoot conditions at the maze, but we cannot control the weather/mud! We aim to make Lichfield Maize Maze as accessible as possible for everyone, but the weather is out of our control!
Please speak to one of our friendly members of staff if you are concerned or have any questions.
We want our attraction to be as accessible as possible to all and welcome those who have additional needs.

We also love having school visits here at Lichfield Maize Maze, especially those schools who have children & young people who may struggle to visit us or find it all a bit overwhelming during our normal opening hours. Special group visits and booking rates can be arranged. Please contact us and we would love to help!
Lichfield Maize Maze has extensive free parking on a large grass area adjacent to the entrance of the maze. Vehicles are to be left at the owner’s own risk. Please note that this may become muddy during wet weather.
Please do NOT bring your dogs to Lichfield Maize Maze. Dogs are not permitted on site and there is no shade in the parking area so please do not leave your dog in the car.
Yes and yes!!! You are welcome to bring your own picnics and drinks to enjoy in our designated picnic area. We do have limited undercover seating. There will be plenty of bins around the site, so please dispose of rubbish responsibly or take it home with you. Please recycle where possible!

Unfortunately, although we absolutely love dogs, not everyone does, and so we have taken the decision that we cannot welcome them to our maze. We want everyone to have a wonderful time when they visit us. Dog faeces also poses a huge risk to cattle, and our maize is harvested for cattle feed; we cannot risk contamination of our crop.
Our Pumpkins grow on the ground in our large patch, and we don’t want to risk dog urine/faeces contaminating pumpkins, that children will be handling. Thank you!
There is no shade in our parking field, so please do not bring dogs and leave in cars.
Registered Guide Dogs are, of course, VERY welcome!
Yes, lots! Ticket price includes free entry to our main and mini mazes, picnic area, bale tower, digging pit and our sunflower and pumpkin patches (when in season) as well as a maze map and activity card.
Under 16’s must always be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
Please DO NOT let young children go into the maze unaccompanied, it is very easy to get lost! We are a working farm and we expect adults to supervise their children carefully. Visitors who fail to comply with this may be asked to leave.
Please note that the ground is uneven, and depending on weather conditions, can sometimes be wet and muddy underfoot.
Please come prepared!
We will keep our Instagram and Facebook accounts updated in the instance of adverse weather.
We reserve the right to close our maize maze at any time if we are concerned about accessibility and safety.
Yes! Sunflowers will be available to buy when they are in flower (SUMMER OPENING SEASON ONLY – usually August onwards) for £1/stem or £5/7 stems. Beautiful prewrapped bunches are also available to buy from our gift shop (please feel free to pop by to pick some up from our gift shop if you are passing!).
Entry to the sunflowers is included in the summer maize maze ticket. A limited number of Sunflower-Only tickets will be available online only. BOOK TICKETS HERE
If you wish to pick your own, we advise that you bring gloves, a bag and secateurs with you, although we may have a few spares that we can lend to you.
Please do not try to snap the sunflowers, as this will damage them. Children are not permitted to use secateurs on our site to cut sunflowers.
During October opening season, pumpkins will be available to pick from our hidden patch which is a 5 minute walk from the main picnic area. Wheelbarrows and sledges can be borrowed to transport pumpkins but please look after them and return them to the allocated area before leaving our site. Look forward to some silly spooky scenes enroute!
Our incredible Pumpkin House is in the main picnic area and is easily accessible.
Pumpkins are priced based on size and type and must be purchased from the gift shop before leaving the site. Pumpkins can last for months if stored somewhere warm and dry. Avoiding carving them until close to Halloween will increase their longevity.
Any pumpkins that are deliberately damaged must be paid for.
Please note, pumpkins are available to pick & buy separately and will be priced according to size & type.
Please follow our Instagram and Facebook accounts for details of ticket release and booking for our incredibly popular and limited availability Spooky Season tickets. Please also look at our Pumpkin page for further details.
Please come and take lots of photos of our maize, sunflowers & pumpkins in their beautiful surroundings.
We welcome both professional and amateur photographers to use our sunflowers, pumpkins and maize maze for photo shoots. Professional photographers must purchase a separate photographer’s pass, these are valid for a full day, and it is up to the photographer to liaise with their clients and ensure that each client also purchases their own maize maze entry ticket (please see Photographer’s Pass for more information).
We can also facilitate separate sessions specifically for photographers so that they can work in a quiet and less busy environment. Please contact us to discuss this further.
We reserve the right to determine if a photo shoot is of a commercial nature, and if not pre-arranged accordingly, the photographer may be asked to leave.
Drones are not permitted so please just bring your hand-held cameras, phones, eyes and loved ones to enjoy our maize maze. You are welcome to share pictures of your time here on your social media channels.
Please tag us in your photos and use the hashtag #lichfieldmaizemaze
We are an entirely outdoor venue so please understand that you need to plan your visit to us with this in mind! Please bring appropriate footwear, sun cream, hats, drinks, umbrellas etc bearing in mind the weather.

You will be issued with a detailed map on entry to the maze. There are lots of marked features within the maze and on the map to help you get your bearings, as well as our fantastic ‘bird’s eye viewing platform’. We have incorporated an easy emergency escape path if required. Our map also has an emergency number if you need a little help finding your way out!
Please do not push through the maize/create new paths, this spoils the maze for others and is devastating for us.
We love to welcome groups of friends, family or colleagues to Lichfield Maize Maze! Please feel free to contact us if you have specific requirements.
A discount of 10% is applied at checkout to group bookings of 12 people or more (online only).
Please note that for large groups of children, we require at least one responsible adult booking per four children. Please do not let large groups of children go running off into the maze unaccompanied, they usually get very lost and often we find a lot of damage to our pathways as a result which ruins it for others!
Lichfield Maize Maze is a no smoking venue. This includes e-cigarettes and vapes.
Please respect this rule.
Yes, we have a small gift shop in our reception area where we sell a range of lovely pocket money toys, gifts, drinks, snacks, and locally produced ice cream.
We accept cash and card payments (not American Express).
If you are interested in private hire for an event or party, please see our corporate and team building page or contact us for more details. Where suitable, we may offer exclusive SEN sessions.

We want everyone to feel safe and enjoy their experience here, so please respect others as you explore the maze. At present, the use of face coverings is optional. Please respect members of our staff and other visitors who choose to use personal protective equipment. We will regularly cleanse and disinfect surfaces that visitors are likely to come into contact with. We will continue to follow government guidance on safety measures with regards to Covid-19.
We are very happy to welcome one carer in free of charge per adult or child with additional needs.
You will be asked to provide proof of carer status on entry to Lichfield Maize Maze & Sunflowers. Please bring carer ID with you.
No. Your Maize Maze & Sunflowers ticket will allow you unlimited access to both mazes, our sunflower field (when in season), as well as the picnic and play area. If you wish to pick sunflowers to take home, there will be an additional charge for this.
A limited number of Sunflower Only tickets are available for those who do not wish to do the maize mazes. These are only available online. These tickets do not allow access to the maize mazes but you will still have full use of the picnic and play area. Again, if you wish to pick sunflowers to take home, there will be an additional charge for this.
